About Me:
Hi! If you look around here you can see that I have a very diverse set of skills, interestes and goals. I really identify with my interests and with the fact that they're very focused on 'fundamentals' and bredth. One of the greatest abilities we have as people is the ability to "do cool stuff, learn how to do cool stuff, and show other people how to do cool stuff.", as i like to say.
I have interests in Engineering, Manufactureing and Art.
Overall when looking at all the skills I have and things I like to do, I would fall into the category of "engineer" more broadly. I like to create things that make peoples lives richer and easier. It just so happens that the most useful and powerful techiques we have for this in the modern day are software, embedded systems, and manufactureing / physical automation.

This is my Portfolio website.
I wanted something with more character than a wordpress, or Square Space website. Many suggested I use LLMs to generate it, doing that I probably would have been done in one afternoon. However, I decided I wanted to write it all from scratch. This was on account of the scope and purpose of this website, software developers are supposed to be capable of design or architecture afterall.
I wanted to grow from the experince of building a website and learning webcode / webstack organically, and I think it's an important design decision that a page which is meant to represent me must be an undiluted product and expression of myself. It will start out simple and small, and it will continue to change and grow as I do, and that is much more interesting to look at.
The goal of this website is partially to host my Resume and portfolio. The other reason is that I wanted to challenge myself to learn enough of the modern web development stack. If you;re seeing this webpage, that means I figured out how to host this on my home server using nginx webserver and fastCGI for backend.
